Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of VistaCite (“the Service”), operated by Vamfi Inc. By using VistaCite you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What VistaCite does

VistaCite audits web pages you submit for SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) signals, and generates copy-paste fixes using an LLM. The output is an advisory assessment — not a guarantee of search ranking or AI citation.

3. Accounts

You need a VistaCite account to run audits. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for any activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit URLs you are not authorized to audit, or URLs pointing to private/internal infrastructure you do not own.
  • Use the Service to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system without permission.
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or abuse protections.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape the Service beyond what is permitted by applicable law.
  • Use the Service to generate misleading, deceptive, or harmful content.
  • Submit content that infringes intellectual property rights, violates privacy, or is otherwise unlawful.

We reserve the right to rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Your content and our output

You retain ownership of the URLs you submit and any content on pages we crawl at your direction. You grant us a limited licence to fetch, analyze, and process that content solely to provide the Service.

The audit results and the generated .md action plan are yours to use however you want — copy, paste into your own site, share with clients, include in reports. No attribution required.

6. Fees

VistaCite is currently free to use, subject to rate limits. We may introduce paid plans in the future. If we do, we will notify existing users before any charge and give you the option to continue on a free tier, upgrade, or export your data.

7. Third-party services

VistaCite relies on third parties (Clerk, Neon, Anthropic, Vercel, Sentry, PostHog, Upstash, Resend, Cloudflare — listed in our Privacy Policy). Their availability is not under our control. We are not liable for third-party outages or data handling beyond our contractual relationships.

8. Warranty disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. VistaCite audit results are advisory and do not guarantee any specific search ranking, AI citation, or business outcome. You are responsible for validating fixes before applying them to your own website.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VistaCite, its operators, and its suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability in any calendar year shall not exceed the greater of USD $50 or the fees you paid us during that year.

10. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the Clerk user menu. On deletion, all your audit data is cascade-deleted from our database automatically within seconds.

We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach of these Terms, or to comply with legal obligations. Where practical we will notify you first.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms as VistaCite evolves. Material changes will be announced on the homepage or via email. Continued use of the Service after a material change constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Vamfi Inc. is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
